It offered sellers affordable rates at almost half of the price of the local competition, with double the distribution. Since its launch, My Property Preview has not only set new Australian publishing benchmarks, it has revolutionised the local real estate industry. A highly efficient and effective distribution network has been the key to My Property Preview’s success, with over 62,500 copies delivered every Friday on the Sunshine Coast. The magazine offers the latest in properties for sale and for rent, plus a My Home Preview section which includes everything building, renovating and styling both inside the home and out. MPP is known for its extensive property listings, as is its quality editorial content, which covers everything topical relating to property. In 2010, MPP’s leading journalist, Julie Gatehouse, won the REIQ ‘Best Real Estate Report’ for a body of work covering a range of topics including investing, infrastructure and property trends. This same trend was replicated the following year with fellow journalist Dorothy Drane claiming the win for My Property Preview two years in a row. On November 4, 2010, My Property Preview launched the ever-comprehensive www.mypropertypreview.com.au. Research showed that almost nine out of every 10 property sales on the Coast came from people who lived within or just outside the Sunshine Coast region. By using the most cutting-edge technology available, MPP created this all-inclusive website with a Coast-specific online property search engine and mobile smart phone web solution. |

In early 2007, members of the Sunshine Coast real estate industry rallied together with a team of local publishers to create a property magazine that delivered more for less. At the time, there was really only one dominant publication on the Sunshine Coast for sellers to advertise and their costs for advertising were up to $4,000 per page continuing to rise at a monopoly-like rate. Local real estate agents were frustrated with using an advertising medium that was inflated with fluctuating rates and a declining distribution.
